Nuclos Open Source ERP convinces German Federal Association of Film and Television Actors
Complex member management based on the free modular ERP system / Automated processes and flexible customization options
Sauerlach (Munich), October 11, 2011 – The German Federal Association of Film and Television Actors (BFFS) has opted for the open source ERP toolkit Nuclos(www.nuclos.de) for the implementation of a membership management system. With almost 2,000 members, the BFFS is the largest professional association in the film and television industry in Germany. Nuclos forms the basis for an integrated system with which the association can automatically cover all processes relating to the administration of its memberships – from the registration and admission process to the collection and booking of contributions and the issuing of inventory reports. Payment transactions with external applications are processed via corresponding interfaces (DATEV, DTAUS, MT940). The BFFS benefits from a cost-effective system that automates processes, provides a transparent overview of all accounting processes and can be flexibly adapted to new requirements.
Nuclos: Solutions based on the modular principle
With the free open source ERP construction kit Nuclos, companies can quickly and cost-effectively implement individual ERP solutions for all conceivable business processes. The system does not specify a fixed range of functions, but offers modules and mechanisms to define these individually – a significant difference to other ERP systems. This flexibility and the possibility of iterative application development result in major advantages and significant savings in development costs. „By automating many processes with Nuclos, we save a lot of time in administration and can therefore concentrate on the actual work of the association, advising and promoting our members,“ says Antoine Monot Jr, member of the BFFS board.
