Nucleus Suite from Novabit in use at the E-Plus Group

The Nucleus Suite from Novabit is already being used in two projects at the mobile communications provider E-Plus in the Support Systems division – further projects are being planned.

Sauerlach (Munich), November 26, 2007 – With its Nucleus Suite, Novabit Informationssysteme GmbH offers a platform for individual software systems that can be optimally adapted to the respective business processes of a company. Nucleus is a universal software system that clearly separates the technical basis (“EVA machine”) from the description of specific business requirements using metadata. This means that Nucleus can be used to dynamically map the majority of an application’s business logic. During operation, the software system can be adapted to changing requirements at any time. Changes can also be made by the users themselves, taking into account the organizational framework and authorizations in a company.

The Nucleus Suite combines maximum stability and quality of mature, error-free and highly convenient software components with a high degree of flexibility at a cost and time expenditure that is well below average.

Due to the strong market dynamics, the mobile communications industry in particular is dependent on maximum flexibility. The E-Plus Group therefore opted for the Nucleus Suite as a platform for a software system specially tailored to the business processes in leased line management. Novabit recently implemented another IP management application for E-Plus Mobilfunk, which was also based on Nucleus. Further Nucleus projects are currently being planned to support the business processes of the Düsseldorf-based mobile communications company.

“We strategically rely on Nucleus in the Support Systems division, as we can even implement some of our complex requirements within a few days on the basis of this platform, thereby saving a huge amount of time and money. Smaller sub-projects, such as the solution for support in IP administration, could be put into operation with Nucleus after just four weeks,” comments Dr. Hans-Jürgen Schrewe, Director Planning & Engineering of the E-Plus Group.
