Due to strong expansion and increased business requirements, the company, headquartered in Aubstadt, Lower Franconia, needs a reliable ERP system. NGN Fiber Network uses the free, open ERP construction kit Nuclos Open Source ERP from Novabit for this purpose. The system can be flexibly and precisely adapted to the individual requirements of the fiber optic specialist. It benefits from a specially configured line management tool that maps the workflows on a one-to-one basis. This results in transparent, consistently supported business processes and a high degree of automation.
Transparent mapping of the entire order flow
From quotation calculation to contract management and invoicing, Nuclos transparently maps the entire business order process at NGN Fiber Network. All invoices are automatically generated directly from the contract data and sent electronically by e-mail. This automated process saves time and effort and prevents media disruptions. The company also uses the diverse reporting functions of the tool configured with Nuclos. The results can then be used as a basis for important business decisions.
Implementation in just four months
A particular advantage for NGN Fiber Network was the very short implementation time: it took just four months from the start of the project to the system going live. Thanks to the preconfigured line management tool, important functions and special features of the telecommunications industry were already included.
