Open Source ERP: New online training courses for ERP construction kit Nuclos

Create and use individual ERP applications yourself after one week

 

Sauerlach (Munich), March 04, 2011 – Become an ERP builder in one week. Novabit Informationssysteme is launching a new round of online training courses on the open source ERP construction kit Nuclos(www.nuclos.de): From Monday, March 14 to Friday, March 18, 2011, interested parties from small and medium-sized companies will learn in various topic blocks how they can work sensibly with Nuclos and thus free themselves from dependence on standard ERP software. After the nine one-hour training blocks, even specialist users without IT knowledge will be able to create their own individual ERP applications based on Nuclos, work with them and adapt them to their needs.

The topic blocks (each lasting one hour) at a glance:

Mon, 14.03., 10:00 a.m.: Block 1 – Creating entities and relations

Mon, 14.03., 13:00: Block 2 – Creating masks (layout editor)

Tue, 15.03., 10:00 a.m.: Block 3 – Definition of processes and workflows

Tue, 15.03., 13:00: Block 4 – General use and operation

Wed, 16.03., 10:00 a.m.: Block 5 – Creating business and deadline rules

Wed, 16.03., 13:00: Block 6 – Creating reports and forms

Thu, 17.03., 10:00 a.m.: Block 7 – Data import and migrations

Thu, 17.03., 13:00: Block 8 – Administration (Security, Nuclet transfer, SOA, LDAP)

Fri, 18.03., 10:00 a.m.: Block 9 – New features Nuclos 2.6/2.7

Nuclos itself can be downloaded free of charge as open source. Participation in the online training courses requires a subscription. For EUR 49 per month, companies receive regular, topic-related online training on all functions and mechanisms in Nuclos. The next round of training will start in April and will continue on a monthly basis with additional topics on new Nuclos features. Also included are exchange and support on all questions in the support forum and automatic release upgrades. The ERP Flatrate has no minimum contract term and can be terminated at any time without notice.
