Generica GmbH: Efficient order processing with Nuclos Open Source ERP
Increased efficiency and cost savings through consolidation /
Integrated CRM functionalities
Sauerlach (Munich), April 19, 2012 – Generica GmbH, a leading manufacturer of generic spare parts for the packaging industry, is implementing a system for efficient merchandise management based on the open source ERP toolkit Nuclos(www.nuclos.de). In future, the open source ERP software will form the central platform with which the company will cover its individual processes from goods receipt and costing to order receipt and processing through to stock recording and invoicing. Nuclos also provides integrated CRM functionalities for sales support, such as the management of e-mails and customer histories or CTI integration, and connects an existing store system. “By replacing several distributed legacy systems and consolidating them on one software, we are achieving significant increases in efficiency and thus cost savings in the handling of our central business processes,” says Rudi Graf, Managing Director of Generica GmbH. “Nuclos fits perfectly into our open source strategy.”
Nuclos Open Source ERP: cost-effective, flexible, scalable
Application development with the Nuclos ERP toolkit offers significant advantages for companies: Nuclos is free and open source. There are no license fees or maintenance costs, and there is no dependence on proprietary software. The system does not specify a fixed range of functions, but offers modules and mechanisms to define these individually and iteratively – a significant difference to other ERP systems. This means that individual ERP solutions for all conceivable business processes can be implemented quickly and cost-effectively. The system is JAVA-based, can run on almost any system environment and is scalable. It adapts to changing requirements and simply grows with the development of the company.
