Nuclos Open Source ERP simplifies data migration

Release Nuclos 3.10 with functions for easy data migration and fast integration of interfaces

Sauerlach (Munich), January 15, 2013 – The current release 3.10 of the open source ERP toolkit Nuclos now supports users even better with extended ETL functionalities (Extraction-Transformation-Loading) when migrating data from legacy systems and importing it into Nuclos. In addition, the transfer and processing of data from third-party systems, for example from stores or systems of partners and suppliers, and thus the integration of Nuclos into existing workflows is significantly simplified and accelerated. The new functions enable more complex data processing directly during import: content can be mapped using value lists and reformatting, concatenation or data validation can be carried out before importing. The rules for this can be defined by the user with virtually no restrictions. This makes it even easier to switch from a proprietary ERP solution to Nuclos. Nuclos 3.10 is now available to download free of charge at www.nuclos.de.

Easy changeover

“With the current release, we have further paved the way for an easy switch to Nuclos. After installing the modular ERP system in just a few minutes with the one-click installer, data migration and integration into the system is now much easier,” says Ramin Göttlich, Managing Partner of Nuclos manufacturer Novabit. Other new features in Nuclos 3.10 include support for Java 7 and improved print management. Companies that are using an older Nuclos version and have already implemented an individual ERP solution (Nuclet) can easily update it using the installer supplied. The new functions are then immediately available in all existing Nuclets.
