ROGGE Schilder realizes individual merchandise management with Nuclos Open Source ERP
Customized business software based on the ERP modular system /
Integrated POS system for connecting branch locations
Sauerlach (Munich), October 31, 2013 – ROGGE Schilder e.K., a provider of advertising technology, vehicle signs and registration services, has implemented an individual ERP system with the Nuclos open source ERP toolkit(www.nuclos.de). The company, which has eight branches in northern Germany, has thus ended years of searching for flexible business software that can be adapted cost-effectively, precisely and easily to the processes of the medium-sized company. Nuclos also provides an integrated cash register system to connect the stores. The central maintenance of a uniform database enables ROGGE to update data quickly, even for the stores, and ensures a high level of transparency of sales, item stocks etc. at the head office.
Customization by the specialist user
Nuclos offers companies an unencumbered platform on which they can map their business processes step by step and thus create their individual business software. The software adapts to the company’s requirements according to the modular principle and not vice versa. Changes are not only possible, but desired, and can be implemented very easily by the user, even without IT expertise. “We have invested a lot of money in standard software in recent years, but it was never able to map our processes properly. The necessary customization was then very expensive or not desired by the manufacturers. Updates and compatibility with third-party systems were always a major problem. With Nuclos, we have now found a system that can be adapted to our requirements. Simple, fast, cost-effective and flexible,” says Rolf Vogel, owner of ROGGE Schilder. “If necessary, we can even implement changes ourselves and without a service provider.”
