Nuclos Open Source ERP offers Eclipse plugin for business rules
Powerful, integrated development environment facilitates the creation of business rules for individual ERP solutions based on Nuclos
Sauerlach (Munich), June 11, 2014 – Nuclos Open Source ERP(www.nuclos.de) now offers a plugin for integrating the open source development environment Eclipse with the ERP construction kit. This makes it even easier to develop business rules in Nuclos and use the functions of an Eclipse environment such as code completion, refactoring or call hierarchies. It also makes it possible to debug business rules at runtime. Nuclos users can thus create Nuclos applications faster and with higher quality in a comfortable work interface. Further information on the Eclipse plugin, the system requirements and installation can be found in the Nuclos Wiki at http://wiki.nuclos.de/display/Konfiguration/Eclipse+Plugin.
From programmer to specialist consultant
Nuclos is an open source ERP construction kit with which individual software solutions can be implemented very easily, flexibly and cost-effectively. The toolkit provides generic mechanisms for mapping any business processes. It offers developers a sophisticated platform with which they can provide users with software that comprehensively meets their requirements more quickly and in higher functional and technical quality. In contrast to the conventional production of individual software, the time required is reduced from several (man)years to a few weeks or months. In addition, the use of Nuclos enables developers to establish themselves as technical consultants with the specialist and industry knowledge they have acquired through years of project experience – rather than by programming code. As consultants to the specialist department, they think in terms of processes and workflows and can therefore quickly provide an application that meets the user’s requirements.
