Nuclos Open Source ERP now also available from the cloud

– Dynamic Private Cloud LUCAAS guarantees availability, scalability and security

– Full control over company data in a German data center

Sauerlach, July 14, 2016 – The open source ERP toolkit Nuclos (www.nuclos.de) is now also available as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) via the Dynamic Private Cloud LUCAAS (www.lucaas.net). With Nuclos, companies can very easily implement individual software solutions, for example for merchandise management, purchasing and sales, order processing, customer management, warehousing or production. There are no license costs for use. Thanks to the new operating model, they also benefit from the availability, scalability, security and cost efficiency of a private cloud “made and hosted in Germany”.

Flexibility through open source LUCAAS is operated by ISD (Industrie Service für Datenverarbeitung GmbH) from Ludwigshafen. In addition to Nuclos, the platform also provides companies with other open source applications for virtual desktop, CRM, e-mail, communication and various development tools. The Dynamic Private Cloud can be used in addition to a company’s own data center or replace it completely. ISD also offers consulting and services on request to ensure optimal operation and needs-based use of resources.

Full control over company data
The direct, high-availability connection to the ISD data center in Germany (Tier 4 certified) takes individual data security requirements into account. All components of the data center are redundant and thus ensure highly available data at all times. The resources are connected to the Internet via high-quality security components and can be flexibly adapted to individual customer requirements. In addition, customers can only access the infrastructure and systems directly via secure VPN or MPLS connections. This ensures that the customer always retains sole control over the data.
