The company history of Schleiftechnik Neururer reads like a success story from a picture book: Founded in 1997 by Karl Neururer in Hall in Tyrol, the company quickly developed into a specialized wholesaler for abrasives from a wide range of manufacturers. From the very beginning, the company focused specifically on special applications and niche markets, to which the company founder contributed his many years of experience and extensive knowledge of the abrasives sector. As a result, customers benefit from well thought-out, high-quality abrasive products combined with massive cost savings.
One of the most important milestones in the company’s history is the takeover of the Austrian general agency of MIRKA, one of the most innovative manufacturers of flexible abrasives in the world. In addition, there is the cooperation with TYROLIT VINCENT, the leading international supplier of diamond tools for the glass industry, and the introduction of the ABRANET product from MIRKA, which raises the quality of grinding to a new level. The vision of “dust-free grinding” becomes reality thanks to the completely new design of the random orbital grinding wheels. Since then, many well-known customers from the woodworking, painting and automotive sectors have benefited enormously from this product and switched their entire processing to the new system.

As an important tool for managing business processes, the open ERP system Nuclos has been growing with the expansion of Schleiftechnik Neururer for years. Central business requirements are constantly changing, which must be taken into account on the ERP side. These include, for example, an increase in the number of employees or different product characteristics, sales sizes and price categories, which vary greatly from supplier to supplier.
