hello Team,
I can’t install nuclos, I get always error that java jre has wrong version installed. Which version does installer expect?
I use latest windows 64 installer and latest jre 64 version on Windows 7
Best regards, Barak
Hello Barak,
which version did you download ? The stable version or the beta version ?
Regards, Claudia
Hello Barak.
In my opinion the installation won’t work using the latest version of Java (version 7.x) and the stable release of Nuclos (3.1.7). Please try the latest JRE 6.x (64 bit).
You can download the appropriate Java package here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javasebusiness/downloads/java-archive-downloads-javase6-419409.html#jre-6u31-oth-JPR
Hope this will work for you.
Best regards, Matthias
Hello Matthias,
thanks for your Info, I will test it now with your feedback. I will post back if it was successful.
Hi Barak,
any news on this matter? I have the same problem and would like to know whether installing an older version of JRE works … thanks for your feedback 🙂
Best regards Stefan
installing jre6u33 was very helpful in my case. so it is at least worth a try 🙂
I now tried installing the older (6.33) version myself – in fact in works. 🙂 But i think it is kind of a security issue …
