Sauerlach (Munich), August 09, 2011 – Novabit Informationssysteme GmbH, manufacturer of the open source ERP toolkit Nuclos(www.nuclos.de), reports a successful first half of 2011 and increasing demand for the open source ERP system. In particular, small and medium-sized companies from all sectors are increasingly interested in the benefits of the free open source solution. Their typical ERP and CRM requirements include the implementation of individual merchandise management systems, solutions for purchasing and sales, order processing, customer management, warehousing and manufacturing/production. They can implement these quickly and cost-effectively with Nuclos – without a large IT budget or IT department.
Nuclos continues to grow
With an installed base of more than 100, Nuclos is one of the most widely used open source ERP systems in the German-speaking world. “Open source ERP is booming and we are firmly established on the market. Around ten percent of DAX companies and many companies in the upper midmarket and SME sector work with our ERP toolkit. They use it to map individual business processes in a business software that grows with their requirements,” says Ramin Göttlich, Managing Director of Novabit. “In recent months, we have been able to acquire further interesting customers and drive forward the technical development of the system with Release 3.0.” Due to the high demand, Novabit wants to continue to grow at its headquarters in Sauerlach near Munich and create around ten new jobs by the end of the year.
